CIE Programme
Established in 1978, Fairview International School has for the last thirty years been in the forefront of international education. Starting out as a non–profit tiny entity of 14 students, it has over the years grown in strength to 1500 students in six centres yet maintaining its essence of quality education at an affordable price. This is evidenced in our excellent results year after year in the GCE and the Cambridge IGCSE O level examinations.
Cambridge IGCSE is taken in over 100 countries worldwide and is widely recognised by higher education institutions and employers around the world as evidence of academic ability. Cambridge IGCSE is equivalent to the GCSE in the United Kingdom.
Each learner’s performance is benchmarked using eight internationally recognised grades (A*–G). In others, they are widely used as a preparation for A Level, AS, International Baccalaureate and US Advanced Placement courses.
Fairview embraces the constructivist approach to teaching and learning using a myriad of thinking tools and strategies to bring out the best in children.
