The Central Idea for the exhibition:
“Children worldwide face a variety of challenges and risks”
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme is designed to empower students to take charge of their own learning journey with teachers as facilitators. While learning transitions through transdisciplinary approaches in the Primary going on to interdisciplinary in the Middle Years leading on to disciplinary in the Diploma. The seamless transition augurs well for a learning continuum that sees students with the IB Diploma being well sought after in prestigious universities throughout the world. A set of 10 attributes named the Learner Profile are basic values that are embedded in the learning process. International mindedness underpins the curriculum as with technology bringing the world together at a fast growing pace, it is wise to know, understand, respect and appreciate each other.
The Exhibition is the culmination of the Primary Years and marks an important phase of the students’ learning journey. The Primary Years Programme requires students to learn through inquiry using a variety of resources and acquiring essential skills along the way.
Students will be on hand to take visitors through their learning experience and share their ‘WOW’ moments of successes.
We will see you…
