Fairview International School proudly opened its newest campus, located in the quiet UEP area in Subang. Our doors opened in September 2010. We started with 77 students all wide eyed and eager to experience a new approach to learning. It is rewarding towitness our students develop and grow in the short time with us. Now in our second term our student population has grown to just over 200 students in three months.
- Co-Curricular Activities
An academic education is vital in a students life, but so too is their personal and social developments which take place within Fairview International School. Our CCA program complements and satisfies these objectives.Our CCA’s rotate between clubs one week and games the next week. Our Clubs are varied and engaging, ranging from the Computer Club, Entrepreneur Club, Art & Craft Club, and Culinary Club. Recently due to popular demand Mr Matthew has started up the Guitar Club which has been well received by students. We also have the Badminton Club, Football Club, Basketball Club, Chess Club,Motor Club and again the well received Taekwondo Club.
- Transport
Transport is provided by the Wadishah Transportation Company, operating 4 vans from Subang, Kelana Jaya, Damansara Bandar Utama, Puchong, Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya and Bukit Jalil.Our students demonstrate that Learner Profiles do not just exist within lessons. Older Students chaperone the younger students from the assembly hall to the van, and help the drivers to put the bags into the van, once all the students are in the van and bags in, the older students then alight the bus.
- Library
Subang Campus has two libraries one exclusively for PYP students and another for MYP students. The MYP Library also has a discussion room for the use of students during lessons or if staying after school for project work.
